Davey Family Maternity | Fairfield, CA Photographer

There is something so special about photographing a family expecting a new little one. The Davey family is expecting their third child and second little boy next month. Adding a third child is something very fresh in my mind (my third is almost 9 months now). Its such an exciting time for the kids and I love getting to capture that excitement.

Comz was looking for someone to capture her like a Goddess. I immediately imagined her bathed in golden light by a body of water. She ordered this white flowy gown on amazon (Found here). I know booking a client is right when i can picture their session as they are telling me what they are looking for. Sometimes I think Im more excited then my clients, hahaha!
We started our session at The Last Tangle Salon in Vacaville with Jessica. Jessica did an amazing job bringing out Comz natural beauty. I highly recommend  her services for any event. After they finished up we headed over to Lagoon Valley Park where I had scoped out the perfect spot the week before.

We got started right away in moms flowy white gown. We captured some gorgeous photos of her and her baby bump, she looked stunning in that golden light. I enlisted the help of dad and the kids to toss moms skirt for the beautiful wind blown look.
Halfway through Comz switched into a matching Navy colored gown to match her family. We captured some images of everyone together. The Davey children were so incredibly easy to photograph and followed my direction perfectly and without much coaching. They definitely made my job easy. I always love to capture a few images of just mom and dad. It’s kind of a reminder of where the love all started and how the family has grown.
I had such a great time photographing this wonderful family. It was a pleasure capturing this special time in their lives. I hope it will be something they can look back on fondly. Congratulations Davey Family!
